Michael and Heather Reed live in Amarillo. Well we own a house in Amarillo. Heather is a Community Regional minister for the CCSW and Mike travels with her to make sure she knows where she is going and takes care of her, because otherwise she would be lost. Heather has been serving this region since 2018, with Mike retiring in 2021, and is taking a sabbatical now after serving full time since 2021. They have been planning their adventures forever and are excited to relax, rejuvenate and recharge for the future with the Christian Church in the Southwest.

Today is a very special day…. Anyone? Anyone?

Wrong, Hummm I think I might be forgetting something… Anyone? Anyone? Ohh yeah, it’s Glacier day today! But my Spidey sense is going strong, I still think I’m missing something? I’ve got it!!!

Happy birthday to the most beautiful person I have ever known! The love of my life and my bestest friend ever! Heather Diann (McColl) Reed.

With the sun shining through the drapes I covered my face several times with my only pillow brought from home. Kinda like the Peanuts character Linus and his blanket. Heather and I enjoyed a quiet breakfast before walking along the outside deck. So cold! Yep we needed a warm up on our way so two quick cups of coffee before heading to our room.

The weather was perfect on our balcony, just had to take breaks making sure our room wasn’t getting too warm without us.

We had tickets for Deal or No Deal in the theater. Heather won some bingo sheets and I won squat. Was a good time playing from the audience. We left afterwards for a pizza lunch alfresco (it was by the pool) and I say it was el freeze o! Sorry you crispy Texas folk baking at 104 degrees or more. A mere 50 degrees here.
