Early morning rise. Heather and I had doctor’s appointments and then a breakfast date at our favorite pancake restaurant. The Pancake Station babies! The coffee is amazingly flavorful and the breakfast was delicious as always.

What a windy day today. I am clearing my garden preparing for tonight’s freeze. I got 4 bell peppers, one regular and two baby cherry tomatoes, and four small sweet potatoes. I had one overripe cucumber and a large watermelon that had a big crack in it so I just used them for seeds. The bounty and cash crop were another two pounds of Rhubarb!

Heather continued to straighten out her office as I doctored my lower back. Time again got away from both of us and before we knew it, it was time to guess what’s for dinner? My Thai of course. Very good choice! We have missed our Thai food!!!

Heather baked some chocolate chip cookies for snacks and some muffins for tomorrow’s breakfast. All is good in the House of Reed’s.

While standing in front of an open refrigerator wondering what you were looking for, you get that sudden urge which redirects you to the bathroom. The power of cold air on your conscience is a real thing…just sayin’… bring on the freeze!
