Michael and Heather Reed live in Amarillo. Well we own a house in Amarillo. Heather is a Community Regional minister for the CCSW and Mike travels with her to make sure she knows where she is going and takes care of her, because otherwise she would be lost. Heather has been serving this region since 2018, with Mike retiring in 2021, and is taking a sabbatical now after serving full time since 2021. They have been planning their adventures forever and are excited to relax, rejuvenate and recharge for the future with the Christian Church in the Southwest.

July 23, 2026

Well we got off to the airport, thanks to my parents, Thank you Mom and Dad for taking us. And we got on our plane and headed to San Francisco. Flights were smooth and great. We flew first class this time on American and I don’t know how we will ever go back. The attention they paid to us and the food not to mention the great wide separated seats. Uhhh so spoiled. Once we got to San Francisco we caught an uber, totally crazy and insane driver, to our hotel in NobHill. The Holiday Inn Golden Gateway was good to us and gave us a great view. For dinner we found a great little Italian sandwich shop, Limoncello. The food was phenomenal and the sandwich is one of the best things I have had. If ever in San Francisco give it a try.
