You Know Juneau in July

A beautiful day yesterday with a temperature about 60 degrees fahrenheit and a cool rain. Sorry Amarillo peeps expected temperatures above 100.
We slept in and were up by 7 a.m. again enjoying our delivery of our cup of joe. Nice view from our extended balcony as we were docking in the Juneau Harbor.

What a long walk to town in the rain but so worth every step. The crisp clean air and the deepest green trees lined with bushes with berries. Again with the shopping with a little more intensity on specific places. You know in Juneau Heather has to gather new stickers for her new computer. Then some lunch at the Hanger! You know in Juneau Mike has to have some King Crab! Yes I/he splurged as Heather sat amply by avoiding the splatter of cracking shells while dodging any and all remanent of potential overspray.
Not really, she had the chicken sandwich.

We enjoyed some Canadian made ice cream before returning to the ship. So tired we changed clothes and went about investigating more of the ship.

A night of specialty coffee after dinner at our favorite steakhouse The Crown Grill. Yes I had even more seafood, the lobster bisque, a lobster tail and we both skipped dessert. Heather enjoyed another filet mignon and my companionship. Poor thing is gonna need a break from me. I have been telling everyone her birthday is Tuesday. Please send wishes that I survive and her birthday condolences. She keeps on giving me the stink eye and I know she’s eating it up. Especially her birthday brownie that couldn’t wait two more days to eat. caught ya…
