Michael and Heather Reed live in Amarillo. Well we own a house in Amarillo. Heather is a Community Regional minister for the CCSW and Mike travels with her to make sure she knows where she is going and takes care of her, because otherwise she would be lost. Heather has been serving this region since 2018, with Mike retiring in 2021, and is taking a sabbatical now after serving full time since 2021. They have been planning their adventures forever and are excited to relax, rejuvenate and recharge for the future with the Christian Church in the Southwest.

Awrrrr, as in pirate, just hanging with my sea mate, Heather. Full day on the Pacific Ocean heading towards San Francisco. We slept in past 6 a.m.and headed to an early breakfast. Was a nice night to catch up on some sleep on the rocking ship. Yep, lots of Dramamine for yours truly. And later on in the day, I added behind-the-ear patches. They seem to work better for me.

Today I will be dining alone for lunch. I can truly say it was a feast of nothing I have ever experienced and was saddened my bestie couldn’t share it with me. The Crab Shack! The Crown Grill transformed from a steakhouse to an impressive seafood restaurant. I had shrimp and hush puppies and more shrimps and clams and mussels and more shrimps and corn and claws and crawfish. Ohh and the main element of culinary delight: Alaskan crab legs. Yum!

Ohh, the carnage of cracking shells and the splatter of clarified butter. Somehow, I managed to get power through. Undoubtedly, my dream meal was fulfilled.

Okay, enough of the crustaceans. Afterwards, I was in communication with my spouse. Briefly, we met before parting ways. Heather played Bingo, and I would walk the plank.

Tonight was the second formal night, and we primped and prepped, packing layers upon layers of beauty upon us. Mine didn’t work, but Heather transformed into my princess of the sea. Wow, she looked great. Evidence photo coming soon. We had complimentary champagne and chocolate strawberries delivered to our room for a slight dinner mishap, and all was great.

Okay, it took a brief moment to get last nights pictures downloaded. Maybe because we are sailing in the middle of the ocean and tada here is the evidence. My beautiful wife. Ignore the Monkey with her lol.
