Michael and Heather Reed live in Amarillo. Well we own a house in Amarillo. Heather is a Community Regional minister for the CCSW and Mike travels with her to make sure she knows where she is going and takes care of her, because otherwise she would be lost. Heather has been serving this region since 2018, with Mike retiring in 2021, and is taking a sabbatical now after serving full time since 2021. They have been planning their adventures forever and are excited to relax, rejuvenate and recharge for the future with the Christian Church in the Southwest.

July 31, 2026

Today is the last day for us to stop at a port. Today’s port was Prince Rupert in Canada. We were only there for 5 hours so made for a really quick port. It was overcast but not cold and we did tons of walking. not a whole lot to see or do here so glad it was a quick port. We came back on ship to eat lunch and take a nap. Did not realize how much we needed that.

The rest of the afternoon we rested, played a few ship games, musical bingo and true or moo, heard a comedian that made us laugh and a musical group with an amazing singer who was singing Elvis. It was a great evening. As sailed away from port, Mike noticed a container boat being loaded.
