We had to set our clocks up another hour to accommodate our new time zone. We are two hours ahead of central time. We are now in Saint John, New Brunswick. Finally got our pic of our Terminal Friends.

Our tour guide is a 70 year old Mary Ellen who is very friendly and flighty of thought. Very funny stories but has a challenging time staying on topic. See that over there! Ohh I will tell you about that later… ohh where was I… this repeated most of our excursion. Her side kick the bus driver who name is Joey. I couldn’t help but giggle at the Canadian phonetic trait of Mary Ellen while saying Joey’s name. Joohe-eee. I can see how others perceive the Texas accent. He did not say much at first but Mary Ellen got him to speak on a few occasions by saying what do you think Joey? Joey could tell you cause I don’t know to much about that. Quite comical aye.

We had a great time and enjoyed the bus ride. Joey is very skillful in his bus driving skills. Narrow roads, tight lanes, covered bridges, and staying off the microphone.

We walked on the ocean floor as the tide was out and got some great pictures of the sea caves.

Mary Ellen told us as we were rounding the corner in a neighborhood on the way to the caves that there was a huge chance that her daughter’s father-in-law would be in his driveway smoking. She was so excited when he was there she had us all waving at him and calling his name. This is Doug smoking lol!

We got a little rain here..luckily it wasn’t too bad. We ate at The Caves Chowder. They are a family owned business started in 1982. Very friendly people used to feeding cruise ships crowds.

We had dinner at The Sante Fe Restaurant on deck 7. We were seated and tonight’s menu was Italian food. A couple seated next to us are from Florida. We talked all through dinner. John and Jannie both retired are avid travelers. We exchanged stories on work, family, and travel. The are very religious and happy to spend time with their grandchildren. Nice people.

We all met later in the lounge for some great comedy. The comedian was Gary Delena who’s from Brooklyn. Forget about it! Youse talking to me! Aye! I know a guy! He’s been Ray Romanos’s best friend for 35+ years. Was an awesome show. Going to see him again tonight in his adult show.

Tomorrow is chill day. We are at sea heading towards Halifax, Canada.
