Head ’em up, move ’em out! Remember never to kick a cow patty on a hot day or anytime you’re wearing slippers! Just sayin’…
Today is a long drive day of 372 miles or 600 kilometers. We changed time zones again. They don’t call it mountain time since it’s in the middle of the wide open plains of Canada.

Breakfast again, Tim Horton’s. Coffee was the dark roast and delicious. Just a bunch of driving. The speed limit is as fast as Canada allows at 110. It converts to 68 mph. That’s why it takes so long to get anywhere. Most posted speeds are 50, 70, 100, 110. You don’t want to hit a moose 🫎 at any speed just ask the moose.

We made several stops today. It rained most of the morning and cleared up as we changed Time Zones and providences. The chicken was a little better than Yoders. This was hard for me to say but my taste buds say it is better. The potatoes were good along with the coleslaw. Finally a coleslaw Canada can make well. Now the gravy needs some work. It’s more like the poutine gravy than a chicken gravy. Definitely a thumbs down 👎.

We stopped at a giant Coke Can, a swinging bridge, several port a potties, and a giant Indian Head at a town named Indian Head.

We arrived tired from the road and have a great suite at the Royal Canadian Hotel in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. Dinner is from our snack bag. Tuna for me and peanut butter for the wife.

Tomorrow is another long drive day. We will be heading to Medicine Hat, Saskatchewan. Got another appointment with a moose 🫎.

An American asks a Canadian:
“What should I know before driving through Saskatchewan?”
The Canadian says:
“Watch for moose.”
“Anything else?”
“Watch for deer.”
“Anything else?”
“Watch for wildlife.”
“Anything else?”
The Canadian thinks.
“Watch for Americans stopping to take pictures of the wildlife.” 😂
Heather and I know some Canadians have had some pretty good laughs while we stop, pose, and click! Then we hobble around waking up our legs. It’s when we are at a restaurant the conversation starts with “Where are you from?” that elicits the most responses. I asked Heather if we could just answer “Quebec City.” She said “No!!!”
