Hello from Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada! Today is another hummmp dayyy! 🐫🐪🐫 We will start out with some great pictures fitting of today.

Well you probably know that we spent the day at the zoo. Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg. The zoo has many beautiful animals Heather and I have never seen before. We learned a lot about these animals and will have memories to share for quite some time.

We enjoyed the clear signage at each exhibition and the atmosphere and space these animals have to live their lives.

The volunteers who help at the park we so friendly and proud to share information about the park and the animals. One lady named Ellen was setting up a table with all kinds of activities. Heather and I interacted with her for quite a while. We learned names given to these magnificent animals and their locations in the park. We learned of the must see new babies and additions to the zoo. We got feel different pelts that were donated for this purpose of educating others. Many feel so differently than they appeared.

These horses 🐎 are huge. Similar to the Clydesdale horses they also have really big hooves. Rival was saying it’s time to eat. He kept moving his bowl around. Flame had already eaten and was content to pose. I asked Rival “Why the long face?” He answered “What did you say, Wilbur?” lol 🤪 (reference Mr. Ed)

Our absolute favorite part of this Park was the Journey to Churchill. The adventure of exploring the Arctic and its wildlife.

The Polar Bears loved Heather and she fell immediately in love with them. The Park has several polar bears and none were shy. Such big bears. We know they are wild animals but they interacted in graceful fashion.

The bears names are Willow, Nanuq, York, and Kaska. Such beautiful amazing animals. Kaska interacted with Heather. Putting on her best aquatic dance routine. I enjoyed Willow sniffing the air like there was bbq wafting in from down the road.

The Park is getting ready for Halloween 🎃 and has many parts decorated.

The goats and their playground equipment were a blast to watch. They climbed back and forth over the bridge walk.

Was a great time. We had additional plans but were unable to meet our expectations due to our dogs were barking loudly. We were back to our hotel and took a brief nap before heading out to dinner. Dinner was at Boston Pizza. The restaurant was packed and the servers were busy.
