Early morning greetings from Bozeman Montana. It’s a 3:30 a.m. start. Our Uber was supposed to be here at 4:15 and we had a no show. Then our backup plan was to use the hotel shuttle and that driver was a no show as well. As I was talking with Heather I saw the hotels next door driver start his van. I hurried over and asked if he had room for us and our suitcases. He said he did so I hurried back and grabbed Heather and away we went pulling our luggage down the street. We got to the van and he loaded up the suitcases and we joined the other couples headed for the airport. I tipped the driver well for getting us to the airport. I thanked him repeatedly. He saved our butts!! We got there just in time and made it through the busy security checkpoint. Heather didn’t asked to get me probed but they had to check my backpack. It was flagged by the scanner for my Mounjaro Thermos that is TSA approved.

We landed in Las Vegas Nevada and had a three hour layover. Breakfast was at the Burger King inside the terminal. We had time to chill out then loaded up de plane and headed to Beverly! Once on the plane it was the longest time before we landed in Amarillo. One hour and 50 minutes later we had a turbulent landing and all was well. Our Uber here in Amarillo was very nice and efficient. Home, home, home… enough said….just sayin’ ….got to get some groceries in this house.

I read a recent study that found people eat more bananas than monkeys. 🐒 I find that to be absolutely true. I just don’t know anyone who has ever eaten a monkey….just sayin’!!! Today’s blog is short. We have our wonderful oversized recliner’s whom have missed our hineys. And I guess the Mrs. will want to turn in early. We are exhausted after 3 months away.
Update that all family members attending the Fab Five Reunion in Alabama are safe and well. They had some rain, wind, and lost power but it is now back on. We hear good things are happening there and we sure wished we were there with them. Love and miss you Aunts Margaret, Jan, and Uncles Doug, Bill and Dad- Don. The Fab Five! We Love and miss you Aunts Cathy, Pat, and Mom-Kay along with the rest of the family attending or at home. Go McColl’s!!! Just be careful when Dad plays Five Crowns.
