Today is Doctor’s Day! Both Heather and I have dual appointments at Creek Stone Integrated Medical Chiropractic, then at West Texas Family Care Clinic. The staff and doctors at Creek Stone have helped me on my path to recovery. They truly care about improving the lives of everyone they care for.
I am also grateful for the great people at West Texas Family Care Clinic for taking such great care of Heather and me. Dr. Jennifer Turner takes the time to listen and answers any questions or concerns you may have.
Another honorable mention goes out to ‘The Pancake Station’. In between our doctor’s appointments, we knew we had no lab work, so we stopped at one of our favorite local restaurants. Some of the best coffee in town with great daily lunch specials!

Heather had some business at the Westgate Mall, shopping for a new belt and getting some length added to her birthday necklace. I haven’t been to the mall in years, thanks to Amazon, and was surprised to see how much it has changed. The murals on the entrance walls were definitely Amarillo-themed. The downtown cattle drive is my favorite.

Walgreens for prescription pickup had to reorder because they restocked it even though they said they would hold it for me. Anywho, we had groceries to be picked up from the Wally-World and United Supermarket and a big box…
Once home, Heather went her way sorting out her travel clothes while I prepped our hoodies and jackets, knowing the Canadian Rockies and Yellowstone National Park early October would be cold. It’s definitely a logistical challenge of the unknown. Then, as I thought Heather was going to settle down and watch some TV with me, she wrestled a big box out of the back of Ruby. She pulled, clipped, measured, and assembled straps and padded parts. Then out-to-the-extremely-hot garage she went. A few minutes later, she came back inside dripping with perspiration. Ryder’s new car seat installed! “I’ll wait till tomorrow morning to put the camera in!” she said. “Way too hot in the garage.”

We are looking forward to having Rhyder at our house tomorrow. We will be picking him up after Heather’s pedicure appointment. Got him some snacks!
